I am creating a book of portraits and profiles of beloved pets who have found their forever homes through adoption and rescue. You are cordially invited to share your pet’s story and become part of this special project. In exchange for your participation, you will receive a free 8.5 x 11 inch portrait of your pet.

What I need from you :

PHOTOS! 
I would need high-resolution photographs of your pet- send as many as you like!
At your request, I will try to accommodate whichever photo you prefer for your pet's portrait; however, due to multiple variables, I reserve the right to use a different photo if I feel it would work better for this project.

BIOGRAPHIES!
Include a short profile of your pet.
Some things you might want to consider:
     ~How did you and your pet find each other?
     ~Why is your pet special to you?
   ~Does your pet have any particularly entertaining or endearing qualities that make him so unique?
    ~If your pet were human, what sort of character would she be?

PERSONAL INFORMATION OTHER THAN YOUR PET'S NAME AND LIKENESS IS NOT  NECESSARY FOR THIS PROJECT!

I do anticipate a high volume of interest in this project.  I will be working on it in addition to several other projects, and will begin portraits in the order in which I receive them. It may take some time before your portrait is completed, but I encourage you to email me if you're wondering about any progress I've made or where you are in line.

What you need to know :

Once I've completed your pet's portrait, you will receive an 8.5 x 11 inch digital file that you may print however you wish.

By sending your photos and information to me, you are acknowledging ownership of the photographs and all subsequent writing in connection with those photographs.

By participating in this project, you are giving me limited permission to use your photographs and writing to create a portrait and a written profile of your pet which may be used for my book about rescued and adopted pets and for any promotional materials in connection with said book.

I will not use your photographs or writing for any  purpose other than the above mentioned book project, nor will I share, sell, or distribute any of these items in any way without your written permission.

Once I've completed your pet's portrait, you will receive an 8.5 x 11 inch digital file that you may print however you wish.

The finished portrait is yours free in exchange for your participation in this project, and is for your personal use only. You may not sell either the original or copies of the original portrait, and I retain all rights to the finished portrait as well as the finished book and any future editions of said book.
